STARTING THE JOURNEY

So, this is my first time blogging.....ever. 

I guess the best place to start is to let you know a little bit about me and what I want to accomplish with this blog.

I'm a 20 year old college student, majoring in Social Work, minoring in Gerontology.  For those of you who don't know, Gerontology is the study of aging, so pretty much 65 and older. I'm minoring in your grandma.  I love older adult, as my professor says, they aren't "old people." The politically correct term is older adults.  Honestly, I could care less about political correctness.

I have red hair, blue eyes, and feel like I look like a whale, but maybe that's just my extreme insecurity and body issues. 

I love to play tennis, read, and listen to music.  My favorite band is Fall Out Boy, but my biggest celebrity crush is on Oh, Hush!  I've never seen his face, but whoo. That boy has a SHINING personality! Hush, if you see this, snap me. ;)

The purpose of this blog is to record my journeys.  I want to share my spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical journeys with everyone.  I want someone to know why I am who I am, and maybe you can help me figure out where I'm going and what I'm meant to do. 

So as a conclusion to my first post, I love mail. :) Forreal.
